My husband and I stayed at three mountain inn for our recent weekend getaway in Vermont and it was just wonderful. If skiing or snowboarding is your thing the inn is in a great location, with several resorts nearby. The rooms were immaculate and decorated adorably, and had modern updates like USB charging ports on the nightstands - everything about it just felt so comfortable and homey (the little fireplace in our room was my favorite!). Ed also made sure he came out to greet us when we arrived despite getting there a bit on the later side which was very sweet. It's also clear that they take COVID precautions very seriously, and they went to great lengths to detail all of the steps they're taking to ensure guests and staff are as safe as possible. It's a really lovely place and I'm so glad we found this gem of an inn!!
The drive to Vermont is always stunning and this inn is located in a perfect location. It’s a small town, everyone is very nice. Charming. It’s very close to parks and mountains and a beautiful drive! The breakfast at the Inn was absolutely delish! Let me mention: The best bacon I ever tasted. The manager of the property was also very nice. Rooms are very clean decorated in the perfect Vermont style- Charm is the answer. Absolutely loved this Inn! Looking forward for this Covid situation to end so we can visit in the summer or fall.
I look forward to visiting Vermont and staying at the Three Mountain Inn each year and have done so for many years. Ed and Jen are gracious hosts. Each room is unique and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Meals and snacks are delicious. Jamaica is a great town with a wonderful state park. I highly recommend Three Mountain Inn.
This place is so amazing. A beautiful quaint setting, close to Stratton and Manchester. We had a beautiful room, clean as a whistle, and it was just so romantic! My man and I enjoyed the delicious breakfasts - which were 3 courses!! The delightful inn keeper was so warm and truly interested in our comfort. He even gave us the recipe for his amazing muffins - the lightest and fluffiest I've ever eaten! Go here and enjoy a great comfortable getaway!!!
Our first trip to the New England area and we could not be more impressed with Vermont and the little inn we stayed at for the week. Staying at Jamaica, Vermont ended up being a great hub for all of our adventures! We flew into the Boston Logan airport and were leaving from there, so it was important to find an Inn in Vermont that was less than a 3 hour drive from the airport so we wouldn't have a long drive after a long flight. We had researched all the things we wanted to do and were able to take daily drives from the Inn to get to our whole list. This included the Ben and Jerry Ice Cream factory tour, hiking the Green Mountains, Driving Route 100 to leaf peep, a day trip to Manchester to see the Lincoln family home and enjoy a nice dinner, a visit to Lake Champlain to rent bikes and ride around it, a trip to The Vermont Country Store and of course, the hunt for the best Maple Ice Cream and Apple Cider Donuts. We did all this and more! The Inn keepers, Ed and Jen were very friendly and helped us every morning plan the best routes for our daily adventures, adding important stops and sites to check out along the way. The home-cooked daily breakfast were all delicious! Now I am searching for a place back home that makes fresh Almond muffins. The Inn is so freakin charming! I loved the quaint old world atmosphere it affords its guests, while still providing some of the modernities I cannot do without- piping hot water, good plumbing and comfortable beds. We loved that there is a little bar and we were able to chat up Ed (the Inn Keeper) at the end of the night with a little night cap drink. Pick his brain- he knows so much about the local history! We would save up our questions and ask him while we enjoyed a drink at the bar. This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience, set our phones down for a moment (What?!) and learn about things the "old school way" before Google search bar existed. The Inn was homey in the best of ways (delicious home cooked breakfast served piping hot when we walked downstairs) and still felt like a relaxing vacation (room cleaned daily and no dishes to clean at the end of meals). I highly recommend the Inn! Can't wait to go back when its snowing!
My husband and I loved the 3 Mountain Inn. Our room with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool was one of the best we ever stayed in. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was very well appointed and spacious. Fabulous shower. Ed was as friendly as could be and went out of his way to look after us. I would definitely stay there again.
We stayed at the Three Mountain Inn for a weekend of skiing and relaxing. Ed and Jenn were beyond hospitable and gave us great recommendations for whatever we were interested in. The rooms are beautiful, classic and perfectly clean. It really felt like we were staying in our own Vermont home. Ed made us breakfast each morning which was far beyond what we expected - omelets, french toast, sliced fruit, freshly baked muffins, and the best bacon we've ever had. He even made us an extra early breakfast sandwich to go when we wanted to get an early start skiing that day. The Inn is conveniently about a 12-15min drive from Stratton Mountain and much more affordable than staying somewhere in Stratton itself. There is also a nearby grocery store one block away. It was gorgeous in February and I can't imagine how beautiful the area is during the other seasons. All in all, it was the coziest and most comfortable weekend we could have asked for.
This is a top-notch Bed & Breakfast! Jamaica, VT is the perfect basecamp to travel throughout the area. And the innkeeper creates a truly personalized experience. We arrived arrived late and he waited up to insure we had a pleasant check-in. He showed us to the room and offered to assist us with bags. Everything from cozy bedding and cushy robes to the daily breakfast was on point. This inn checks all the boxes. Get a room! I am definitely going back to sit by the fire and enjoy a cocktail by the lobby fireplace. They had a several delicious local beers in the lobby store. Seriously, love this place!
